DSV Parcel Business sends business-to-business parcels through DSV's parcel network, within Sweden and to the Nordics, 33 European countries and around 150 countries worldwide. It takes parcels of up to 30 kg each, which makes it a road-based alternative to express couriers. Shipments abroad were previously sold as DB SCHENKERparcel crossborder.

What can you send?
Parcels to business receivers, in Sweden and abroad. The limits below apply everywhere except Finland, Norway and Åland, where they are tighter. Denmark follows the standard limits.
- Parcels: yes
- Pallets: no
- Non-stackable goods: no
| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| Max actual weight | 30 kg per parcel, 99 kg per shipment |
| Max chargeable weight | 99 kg |
| Max volume | 0.36 m³ per shipment |
| Max length | 2.0 m |
| Length plus circumference | 3.0 m |
| Max width × height (Europe) | 80 × 60 cm |
| Volumetric conversion | 280 kg per m³ |
| Finland, Norway and Åland | One parcel per shipment, max 70 kg chargeable weight and 0.25 m³ |
Freight is calculated on the chargeable weight, which is the higher of the actual weight and the volumetric weight. The volumetric weight is the shipment volume in cubic metres multiplied by 280. Parcels must be machine-sortable; a parcel longer than 1.4 m cannot be sorted automatically and costs more.
Lead time
The lead time is shown in Sendify when you book. It is an estimate based on DSV's stated transit time for the route. Sending abroad, Germany and Denmark are typically 2 days, most of central Europe 3–4 days, Finland and Norway 2–4 days, Åland 3–5 days, Spain 4–5 days, Portugal 5–6 days, and the United Kingdom and Greece 6–8 days. Further afield, the United States, China and Japan are typically 3 days and Australia and Brazil 4 days, rising to around 13 days for remote destinations.
Times abroad apply from Swedish postcode areas 10000–61999 and 63000–79999. From other areas, add one day. You and your recipient can follow the parcel with tracking in Sendify.
DSV does not carry weapons, valuables, alcohol, tobacco, live plants and animals, or perishable, refrigerated and frozen goods. Dangerous goods are accepted within Sweden in limited quantities only, and not at all on shipments abroad. The Canary Islands are served. Ceuta and Melilla are not.
Outside Europe the maximum value is USD 50 000 per parcel, and USD 500 for watches and jewellery. Liability follows NSAB 2015 as amended, which caps compensation at 150 SEK per gross kilo on domestic transport. Outside Europe the Montreal Convention applies instead, capping compensation at 19 SDR per kg.
What does it cost?
The price you see in Sendify is the full price for the shipment you enter. DSV's fuel and currency surcharges, customs handling on shipments abroad and anything driven by the weight, size or number of parcels you have given are already in it. Nothing predictable is added afterwards. It changes only if the shipment turns out to differ from your booking, or if you add an optional service below. On shipments outside the EU, import duties and taxes are charged separately by the authorities in the destination country.
How it works
Four steps from booking to delivery.
1Book in Sendify
Enter the parcel dimensions, the weight and the destination company address. The price and lead time are shown before you confirm.
2Add the paperwork
For destinations outside the EU, attach the commercial invoice. Outside Europe, DSV handles the export declaration and clearance within the freight price.
3Hand the parcel over
Book collection with DSV customer service before 10:00 on the day of pickup. The latest pickup time for your address is shown directly in Sendify.
4Follow the parcel
You and the receiving company can follow the parcel with tracking in Sendify until it is delivered.
Make pickup smooth
- Label every parcel and make sure the labels are readable and flat.
- Have the parcels packed and ready at the pickup location before the driver arrives.
- Keep single parcels under 1.4 m where you can. Longer parcels cannot be machine-sorted and cost more.
- Alternative: drop the parcels off at a DSV terminal.
Cancellation
If a shipment is not going to be sent, cancel it under Orders in Sendify, and do it in good time. DSV may charge a late-cancellation fee of 50–70 % of the shipment cost if you cancel after the booking cut-off. If a collection is not carried out, for example the driver did not arrive or the goods were not ready, you can rebook it in Sendify under Shipments › Alternative › Reschedule collection, or contact Sendify support so it can be raised with DSV.
Additional services
Optional services you can add when you book.

Available to Finland, Norway and Åland when the receiver is a private person rather than a company.
Certificate of origin
DSV stamps a certificate of origin for shipments that need one.
Sendify Secure
