How and why you should have insurance on your shipment?

How do you insure your goods and how can this help you in a claim?

When you book a shipment with one of our carriers, insurance of the goods is not included. If the goods are damaged or lost and you haven’t insured the goods, you risk losing a large part of the value of the goods. Most carriers replace goods in accordance with NSAB's guidelines without insurance. This compensation differs depending on which carrier you book with and which shipping product you send.

When is it worth taking out insurance?

If you send goods that are valuable and / or fragile, we always recommend that you add an insurance for your goods. Currently, we offer insurance with DHL and TNT in the service.

How do I add an insurance on my shipment?

You add the insurance at the same that that you chose your shipping product.

How much is the insurance?

The price differs depending on which carrier and shipping product you choose. You always get the prize directly in the service. The premium also includes the deductible.

How much can I expect to receive in compensation if I’ve added an insurance?

As long as you meet the conditions of the various carriers, you can count on full compensation for your goods. It is worth noting that it must be the carrier's fault that the goods were damaged and the claim needs to be approved by the carrier for the insurance to be valid.
