Invoice explanation
- Your order number: Your shipment number.
- Expected chargeable weight: Expected freight carrier weight is based on the dimensions and the weight you entered in Sendify when you booked.
- Actual chargeable weight: The actual freight-bearing weight is based on the dimensions and the weight the carrier receives when it checks weighs your goods at the terminal.
Costs
- Shipping / Transport costs: The basic cost that each carrier charges for your shipping. The cost is included in the Sendify price.
- Fuel surcharge and diesel tax surcharge: Supplement for fuel. The cost varies depending on current fuel prices and is included in the Sendify price. The supplement is calculated as a percentage of the transport cost.
- Shipping fee: This is a cost DSV charges for administrative work. The fee is included in the Sendify price.
- Gotland supplement: Will be added to all domestic broadcasts with DSV. The extension is included in the Sendify price.
- Capacity supplement: During periods of lack of capacity in Sweden / Europe, a positioning supplement may be charged. The extension is included in the Sendify price.
- Season supplement: During certain periods of the year, DSV charges a seasonal supplement for domestic broadcasts. The extension is included in the Sendify price
- Security fee: On all shipments with DSV, a percentage cost is added for DSV to be able to ensure safety during transport. The fee is included in the Sendify price.
- Congestion surcharge Stockholm: For all shipments to Stockholm (locations whose postal code starts at 10-19), a fee will be added per shipment. The fee is included in the Sendify price
- Congestion supplement Gothenburg: For all shipments to / from Gothenburg (places whose postal code starts at 40-43) a fee is added per shipment. The fee is included in the Sendify price
- Location extension: Local supplement for sparsely populated areas. The fee is included in the Sendify price
- Archipelago supplement: For deliveries to islands without a bridge connection, a shipping fee is added, which varies depending on the destination. The fee is included in the Sendify price
- Environmental supplement: The EU's sulfur directive, IMO Marpol Annex VI, entered into force on 1 January 2015. The purpose of the directive is to reduce sulfur emissions. The fee is included in the Sendify price.
- Toll / road tax: Supplements for road taxes. There may be several items for road tax on the same invoice if your goods, for example, passed through Germany to get to Switzerland, road tax will be added for both transit in Germany and delivery in Switzerland. The fee is included in the Sendify price.
- Port fee: Bridge, ferry and port fees as well as extra fees for which custom exists for certain types of transport and goods are charged in addition to the shipping amount. The fee is included in the Sendify price
- Notification fee In cases where DSV notifies the recipient, the sender is charged per shipment. When announcing piece goods, the transport time is extended by at least 1 day. It is not possible to book in Sendify but may be added as DSV does not manage to deliver your goods due to the recipient not being present. Never included in your Sendify price.
- Change of transport: At times when the freight payer changes the transport assignment after its start, when a consignment can not be delivered according to the assignment or when the freight payer wants to correct an invoiced consignment. Never be included in your Sendify price.
- Incorrect transport service: If a change in delivery method occurs due to the freight orderer stating that a certain transport service is to be used as a mode of transport and the goods do not meet the requirements for the service in question, a fee will be charged per shipment. Never be included in your Sendify price.
- Warehouse rent: For goods that remain with DSV e.g. because the recipient does not receive the goods, warehouse rent is charged per day from the time the goods are made available to the recipient. Never be included in your Sendify price.
- Delivery barriers: If delivery can not take place due to circumstances for which the client is responsible, e.g. that the recipient is not available during weekdays 8.00-16.00 or that the recipient does not accept the delivery, DSV delivers the goods to the nearest DSV terminal. DSV charges the client for take-back, warehouse rent and any new delivery or return transport. Never included in your Sendify price.
- Delivery to private address: We do not offer delivery to private individuals with DSV through Sendify. If you still send goods to a private individual, DSV will charge this and any other fees. Delivery to a company at a residential address is the delivery to be regarded as "delivery to a private person". Never included in your Sendify price.
- Fees for transport documents If a shipment is sent without a shipping document, DSV charges a cost for printing and attaching shipping documents per package. Never included in your Sendify price.
- Incorrect / incomplete weight-volume information For incorrect or incomplete weight or volume information in the booking, DSV charges a fee for correction per shipment. Never included in your Sendify price.
