Sendify Receiver Pays (for receivers)

Sendify Receiver Pays is a feature that allows your suppliers to book the freight — using your Sendify agreements and price.

This means:

  • The supplier books the shipment

  • Your Sendify agreement and your prices are used

  • You pay for the freight


Why should I use Sendify Receiver Pays?

Sendify Receiver Pays helps you:

  • Reduce the cost of your incoming freight and consolidate it in one place

  • Reduce administration time to manage your inbound freight 

  • Increase visibility, control, and predictability for both you and your supplier in Sendify


How does it work?

  1. We create a Sendify account number for Sendify Receiver Pays for you

  2. You share your Sendify account number with your supplier

  3. The supplier books the shipment via their Sendify account in Sendify

  4. The supplier selects that the recipient pays for the delivery

  5. Your Sendify account number is used for the booking

  6. You are charged for the freight according to your Sendify agreement

The shipment will be visible in both your and the supplier’s Sendify account.


How do I get started?

  • Contact product@sendify.se and we’ll help you create a Sendify Receiver Pays account number

  • Share your Sendify account number with your supplier. If they don't have a Sendify account we can help them set it up

  • Agree on which carrier and service should be used for the shipment


💡 Please note:

  • Your negotiated prices are hidden from your suppliers

  • If the supplier enters an incorrect account number, the freight may be invoiced to the wrong party

  • If you do not accept the payment, the supplier may be charged


Frequently Asked Questions

Can I view and manage the shipment as usual?

Yes. All shipments booked using your account number are visible in your Sendify account. You can also receive automated emails when a shipment is booked, or cancel the shipment if something is incorrect.

Can multiple suppliers use the same account number?

Yes. You can share your Sendify account number with multiple suppliers.

Does the supplier need their own agreement?

No. The booking is made under your agreement.

Does the supplier need a Sendify account?

Yes. Currently, the Sendify Receiver Pays account number can only be used within the Sendify platform.

Does it cost anything to use Sendify Receiver Pays?
No. Neither you nor your supplier pay anything extra beyond the regular freight cost.
