To avoid that too many shipments are stored at DHL's terminals, DHL has introduced a warehouse rent for goods that are sent back to the terminal. Warehouse rent / cost for unredeemed goods is therefore added from day 4 at the terminal, to the day before delivery.
The cost varies depending on the weight of the goods:
1-25 kg - SEK 67 / day
26-500 kg - SEK 155 / day
501-2500 kg - SEK 412 / day
2,501 kg and heavier - SEK 655 / day
Therefore, keep in mind that:
- Agree with the recipient that they are on site at the appointed time
- The rule also applies if the shipment is booked with notification and the recipient chooses a day for delivery that is after day 4
- Inform the recipient of these possible costs
- The cost will be sent to the sender / account holder who sent with Sendify
