Pickup Rules & Pickup Options

Some shipping products in Sendify can be booked without adding a pickup request.

This option is useful if your company already has a regular pickup with the carrier, or if you prefer to manage pickups separately — for example, booking one pickup per day instead of one per shipment.

Below you’ll find which carriers in Germany and Sweden currently support booking without pickup.


🇩🇪 Germany

Carrier Supports Booking Without Pickup Notes
DPD A pickup must be booked for each shipment.
DHL Freight Does not support booking without pickup.
DSV Pickup must be included in every booking.
UPS Supported if you have a regular UPS pickup or manage pickups separately.
FedEx Supported if you have a regular FedEx pickup or plan to request pickups separately.

🇸🇪 Sweden

Carrier / Product Supports Booking Without Pickup Notes
DHL Freight Sweden Does not support booking without pickup.
UPS Supported if you have a regular UPS pickup or handle pickups separately.
FedEx Global Supported if you have a regular FedEx pickup or plan separate pickups.
PostNord Can be booked without pickup if you use your own daily pickup or drop-off.
DHL Express Supported if you have a regular pickup agreement with DHL Express.
Termo Delivery Supported for customers with scheduled pickups.
Schenker ⚙️ In progress Will soon support booking without pickup.

⚙️ How to Set Pickup Rules in Sendify

If you regularly ship without scheduling pickups through Sendify, you can define this as a default rule:

  1. Go to Settings → Shipping rules.

  2. Select “Book without Pickup” for the carriers or rules that apply.

  3. Sendify will then create shipments without automatically adding a pickup.

You can still book pickups manually with the carrier whenever needed.


💡 When to Use “Book Without Pickup”

Choose this option if:

  • You have a daily or fixed pickup agreement

  • You prefer to book one pickup for multiple shipments instead of one per booking.

  • You manage pickup requests directly with the carrier outside of Sendify.
