Dachser Targofix is the fixed-day European groupage service. You agree the exact delivery date upfront and Dachser guarantees the goods arrive on that day — useful for installations, restocking and line-side delivery where the recipient can't take stock outside a planned window.

Dachser Targofix suits planned operations — kitchen fittings, machinery delivery to a production line, restocking ahead of a campaign launch, fixed installer appointments. Targofix is delivery-date guaranteed, not transit-time guaranteed: pick the date, Dachser will schedule the line-haul to hit it.

Dachser Targofix costs about 20% more than Targoflex on the same lane. The 10 and 12 variants add a further premium for the hour-level guarantee. Pick Targospeed for the fastest available transit when the date isn't fixed yet.

What does it cost?

The price you see in Sendify already includes Dachser's fuel surcharge, environmental fee and applicable road tax. Customs export declarations to non-EU destinations are added automatically.

How it works

A typical Dachser Targofix shipment follows four stages.

1Book in Sendify with the delivery date

Enter the pickup and delivery details, set the agreed delivery date, select Dachser Targofix and print the label.

2Dachser picks up

The local Dachser terminal collects from the sender during the agreed pickup window.

3Scheduled line-haul

Dachser plans the line-haul backwards from the target delivery date so the freight arrives at the destination branch on time.

4Local delivery on the agreed date

The Dachser branch in the destination country delivers the goods on the booked day.

Guaranteed delivery? Targofix commits to the agreed date but transit-time minutes are not guaranteed unless you upgrade to Targofix 10 or Targofix 12. If a national holiday falls on the chosen day, Dachser will need a separate clearance. Read more about guaranteed delivery times.

Make pickup smooth

Set a realistic delivery date — Dachser needs enough time for line-haul depending on the destination zone.
Stack pallets within Dachser's limits: 240 cm long, 180 cm wide, 230 cm tall, 1 500 kg per unit.
Tailgate lift is included free of charge when every parcel is at most 220×120×240 cm and 1 000 kg.
Confirm the recipient is on site and available on the agreed date — Targofix doesn't include a redelivery.

Cancellation and no-show

If a shipment is no longer going, cancel it in Sendify before the pickup window so Dachser doesn't drive out unnecessarily. Cancel under Orders in Sendify. If a pickup doesn't happen on the booked day — for example, no one is on site — Dachser will retry for up to three working days unless you cancel the shipment first.

Driver call-ahead (AC)

Dachser's driver phones the recipient roughly one hour before delivery. 216 SEK.

SMS booking link (AP)

The recipient receives an SMS with a link to choose a delivery window. 136 SEK.

Dangerous goods (ADR)

Tiered pricing by chargeable weight — 597, 865 or 1 263 SEK.

DDP customs handling

Sendify pays import duties and VAT on the merchant's behalf. 700 SEK for GB, 500 SEK for other non-EU destinations.

EUR pallet exchange

Dachser exchanges pallets at delivery where the agreement applies.
