DSV Air Freight Standard moves palletised freight by air between Sweden and eight countries, in both directions. It is built for shipments from 100 kg, where express parcel services stop being economical.

Flights do not leave every day. Each lane has one to three departures a week, so a missed cut-off means waiting for the next one.

Sending from Sweden

Shipments from Sweden go door to door. DSV collects from any Swedish address and flies to seven destinations:

São Paulo, Brazil

Delivery is included to addresses within roughly 150 km of the destination airport. For recipients outside that area, or for a destination that is not listed, contact Sendify support for a quote.

São Paulo is delivered to the airport

Shipments to São Paulo are sold on CPT terms. DSV carries the goods to São Paulo airport, and the recipient arranges collection and any onward transport. Every other destination includes delivery to the door.

Importing to Sweden

Import lanes run from eight airports. The product appears in Sendify when your supplier's address is within roughly 150 km of one of them:

1Book without pickup

Imports are sold on FOB terms, so no collection is booked at your supplier. Your supplier arranges and pays for the transport to the departure airport and for the export clearance. The price in Sendify starts from the airport.

2DSV contacts your supplier

Once the booking is in, DSV's office at origin contacts your supplier directly to agree the delivery into the terminal and the cut-off, and to collect the documents. You do not coordinate anything abroad yourself.

3Delivery in Sweden

DSV clears the goods through customs on arrival and delivers to the address on the booking.

Lead time and departures

The transit times below are working days and cover the transport itself. They do not include the wait for the next departure, which can add several days on a lane that flies once or twice a week. Sendify shows the estimated delivery date for your shipment, and the latest booking time for your address, before you book.

Chicago is the one to watch on imports. It flies once a week, so a shipment that misses the cut-off waits a full week for the next departure. On imports the clock starts when your supplier has delivered the goods to the departure airport, not when you book.

What the price includes

On shipments from Sweden the price covers pickup, handling, export documentation, security screening, the air freight and its fuel surcharge, terminal handling at destination, delivery to the recipient, and import documentation and customs clearance.

On imports the price covers the air freight and its fuel surcharge, terminal handling in Sweden, delivery to the recipient, and import documentation and customs clearance. Transport to the departure airport and the export clearance are arranged and paid for by your supplier.

Customs duties and import VAT are not included. They are paid by the recipient to the authorities. Waiting time and deliveries outside the covered areas are not included either.

Cancellation

Cancel the order under Orders in Sendify. If the goods have already been collected, or your supplier has already delivered them to the terminal, contact Sendify support so the cancellation can be raised with DSV.
