Invoice explanation
Your order number: Your shipment number.
Expected shipping weight: Expected freight carrier weight is based on the dimensions and the weight you entered in Sendify when you booked.
Actual freight weight: The actual freight-bearing weight is based on the dimensions and the weight the carrier receives when it checks weighs your goods at the terminal.
Costs
- Transport cost: The basic cost that each carrier charges for shipping
- Fuel surcharge: Supplement for fuel. The cost varies depending on current fuel prices and is included in the Sendify price. The supplement is calculated as a percentage of the transport cost.
- Not Stackable Goods: TNT charges a fee for goods that are not stackable. If you book your goods as "not stackable", the cost is included in the Sendify price. TNT will add this fee afterwards if you have booked stackable, if TNT classifies the goods as non-stackable.
- Incorrect delivery address: If a recipient's address is incomplete or incorrect, TNT can try to find the correct address and complete the delivery, for which they charge a fee. Never included in your Sendify price.
- Delivery to residential area: TNT delivers to corporate addresses by default. Deliveries to private / residential addresses are made for a fee per shipment. Included in your Sendify price if you book "to a private person". Can be added afterwards if TNT considers your delivery address as a home address.
- Not System manageable: Shipments that are not suitable for handling on TNT's automatic conveyor belts. One (or more) packages weigh less than 30 kg and one (or more) dimensions exceed 1.2m (L) x 0.7m (W) x 0.6m (H). The fee is included in your Sendify price.
- Exceeded maximum dimension: Shipments that exceed the TNT's maximum dimensions. You can not book with too large dimensions in Sendify, so the only time this supplement is on an invoice is when TNT checks / weighs your goods as larger than booked. Never included in your Sendify price.
- Out Of Area: A remote area is defined by the fact that it is difficult to reach or is a remote place. This is determined by zip code or place name. Included in your Sendify price.
