Summer traffic 2025

During the summer, carriers' capacity may be limited due to, among other things, fewer departures to various destinations and increased holiday traffic, which can also result in longer lead times.
Read below to see how the different carriers manage this to ensure that your goods arrive on time!

What should you keep in mind when booking your shipment this summer?

Here are 3 tips from Elvira at Sendify’s logistics support!

  1. Plan ahead!
Since some carriers may have fewer departures to various destinations or reduced capacity, lead times may be affected.

  2. Will your sender/receiver be closed for vacation?
It’s common for some businesses to close or have limited opening hours during the summer. However, the carriers usually operate on their regular schedules, so make sure to double-check that your sender/receiver is open.

  3. Was your shipment not picked up as planned?
You can either reschedule the pickup yourself through your Sendify account, or contact our support team — we’re happy to help!

Our goal, together with the carriers, is always to ensure that your goods are picked up and delivered on time! But these are 3 things to keep in mind when booking to help prevent any unnecessary issues.

Have a great summer! ☀️
