Sendify Recipient freight, (for recipient)
With Sendify Recipient freight, your suppliers book shipments to you using your Sendify agreements and your prices. They handle the booking, you pay, and you keep full visibility.
Why use recipient freight?
Recipient freight lets you take control of your inbound logistics. Instead of each supplier booking on their own terms and prices, everything is consolidated on your Sendify account.
It means you can:
- Lower the cost of inbound freight by using your own agreements.
- Reduce admin — your supplier handles the booking, you do not need to.
- Keep all shipments in one place and stay in full control in Sendify.
How it works
The flow is straightforward. You create an account number for recipient freight in Sendify and invite your suppliers. They take care of the booking from there.
| Who does what | |
|---|---|
| You create a Sendify account number | Done once, directly in Sendify under Suppliers. |
| You invite your suppliers | The supplier receives an email and can start booking straight away — no agreement of their own needed. |
| The supplier books the shipment | Your recipient address and account number are filled in automatically. |
| You are charged for the freight | The cost lands on your account according to your Sendify agreement. |
The shipment is visible in both your and your supplier's Sendify list.
Frequently asked questions
Can I see and manage the shipments?
Yes. All shipments booked on your account number appear in Sendify. You can track them and cancel if something has gone wrong.
Can multiple suppliers use the same account number?
Yes. You can invite as many suppliers as you like. Each supplier sees only their own shipments.
Does my supplier need a Sendify account?
No. If they are new to Sendify, a guest account is created automatically when they accept the invitation.
Is there an extra cost?
No. Neither you nor your supplier pays anything beyond the normal freight cost.
