DSV System Home - kerbside delivery to private recipients

DSV System Home delivers larger general cargo to your private customers across the EU and Switzerland. The recipient books a delivery date through an online link, and DSV delivers to the kerb.

DSV System Home is for business-to-consumer deliveries. You provide the private recipient's name and email or phone number; DSV sends a link so the recipient can confirm a delivery date, and follows up by phone or email if they don't. Transit times are shown in the DSV Scheduler.

DSV System Home does not carry removal goods, hazardous goods on international exports, waste, temperature-controlled goods, live animals, unpackaged plants or perishables, weapons and ammunition under weapons-control law, shipments that must be unloaded from the side or by crane, or packages over 30 kg that a forklift or platform stacker cannot move.

What does it cost?

The price you see in Sendify already includes all of DSV's charges. The minimum charge is 319 SEK per shipment.

Booking and handling

  • Register pickups with DSV customer service before 10:00 on the pickup day.
  • Use transport-safe packaging and mark each item with a barcode label.
  • The goods are delivered to the kerbside; deliveries and collections run Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:00.
  • Deliveries outside normal hours or to hard-to-reach areas are by separate agreement and may carry surcharges.
Late pickups, late deliveries and cancellations

Pickup and delivery times for DSV are estimates and can be affected by traffic, weather or customs, so they cannot be guaranteed. Cancel in good time: if you cancel after the booking cut-off time, DSV may charge a late cancellation fee of 50-70% of the shipment cost. If a collection is not executed, for example the driver did not arrive or the goods were not ready, you can rebook it in Sendify under Shipments > Alternative > Reschedule collection, or contact Sendify support so it can be raised with DSV.
