Receiver pays

"Receiver pays" is a feature you can use if your receiver want you to ship on their shipping contracts

How does it work?

• You'll find receiver pays as an additional service
• Receiver pays is available for the following products
  
  • DHL Parcel, DHL Part Load, DHL Full Load, DHL Pallet
  • You'll find it by clicking the button "Additional services" on the compare side (where you see all available shipping options)
• You book, print documents and track just as before
• You won't be charged for the shipment if your receiver accept the payment
  
  • DHL will invoice your receiver directly

To be able to use the receiver pay feature you need to:

1. Have agreed with your customer that they want to pay for the shipment
2. Know your customers DHL account number
3. Choose one of the following products
   1. DHL Parcel
   2. DHL Pallet
   3. DHL Part Load
   4. DHL Full Load
   
   

💡 Remember that:

• If your receiver doesn't accept the payment then the shipment will be invoiced to you instead
  • DHL will add on a fee of 230 SEK to cover the extra work needed to change the invoicing
• Double check the account number, if you enter the wrong one DHL will not be able to invoice the receiver and you will be charged instead. The same extra fee as above will be charged.
• We currently only offer this service for DHL
  • Depending on how well this feature is received by you we will likely add support for our other carriers as well. All feedback here is welcome, both in how the feature work for you and which carriers you would like to see.
